Sometimes I feel like we are living in a postcard. Cranbury at Christmas looks like it is the model for Christmas cards. Even the snow seems to sparkle more as it falls on the town.
We were hoping to decorate for Christmas with all of the trees and trimmings, but we are still in the middle of restoration and living out of boxes. Even so, we did a little decorating just to show some Christmas spirit. You just have to have a sense of humor. We decorated our moving boxes in wrapping paper and bows and gave the stone lions some festive ribbon.
On December 1, Santa came to town. We joined the crowd at the Cranbury Fire Museum to sing Christmas carols, light the tree, and wait for Santa to arrive on a firetruck.
Cranbury is also home to a very large light display on the north end of town. There is definitely controversy over its presence but we enjoyed seeing it on its opening night.
We’ll leave you with some scenes from Cranbury at Christmas. Merry Christmas and Peace to all.
